P L A N N I N G
We'll discuss the perfect size and layout for your piece. A 25% deposit secures your spot on my calendar and begins the design phase. I'll send mockups for you to choose from to ensure you love it before the drawing begins. (To give every portrait my undivided attention, I only accept a limited number of commissions each season). Because of this, there may be a wait before your piece begins–– I'll share current start times when you inquire.

C R E A T I O N
Your portrait typically takes 4–8 weeks. I will keep you updated as the drawing comes to life. Upon completion and final payment, your artwork will be professionally matted, securely packaged and prepared for its journey home.

Medium (11 x 14") — $1200 USD
Small (8 x 10") — $650 USD

F A Q

How long will it take?
Each portrait takes 4–8 weeks to draw. I only take a small number of commissions at a time, so there may be a wait before I start yours. I'll let you know current availability when you reach out.

How do I choose the right photo?
Send me a few of your favourites and I'll help you pick. The best photos are clear, sharp, well lit, and taken at eye level. Avoid blurry, dark, or flash photos.

Are your portraits really hand-drawn?
Yes — every single one, by me, in colored pencil. No AI, no machines, no shortcuts.

What if I'm not happy with the finished portrait?
I send you a mockup before I start so we're both happy with the plan. If something's not right at the end, we'll sort it out together.

Do I need to know exactly what I want before reaching out?
Not at all — that's my job. Just tell me about your pet and send some photos. I'll take care of the rest.

How does shipping work?
Canada & US: Small $25 · Medium $35 · Large $45. Everything is packaged safely and fully insured. International shipping is quoted separately.

How long will the portrait last?
A very long time, if cared for properly. I'll include care instructions with every piece.

Can I commission a portrait of a person?
Yes. Just mention it in your inquiry and we can chat.
